thanks for you and the outlaw lovers not even bothering to show up to play with us 2 out of town bands. we really could have used the help since neither of our band’s has ever played nashville before. you could have at least told us in advance so maybe we could have found a band that would actually show up and help us. if you’re ever coming to baltimore be sure and get in touch so we can treat you the same way.

whatever, when I went to both nashville band’s websites to see if they were promoting the upcoming show, which most bands do, what i noticed instead was that both bands were promoting a show that they were both playing together in the the same town two days prior to our show (one of whom it was their cd release). so flu or no, it was no surprise that neither band could be bothered to play our little monday night show (the outlaw lovers weren’t even listing the show so it’s my belief that they never planned to play it). lame. and would anybody even bother to come out after the other show so close anyway? i would never do that to someone. i’d either not do the saturday show for fear of fucking up the draw on another show so close or not done the monday show and given everyone more than enough notice to get someone else on the bill. i’m being a dick because i was dicked first. i don’t enjoy either.
