in related news, members of one of the holly house bands are in our thoughts these trying weeks as they are recovering from a recent bedbug infestation. we can only hope that the vengeful hammer of the orkin man has swung true and hard.
Alleged “Shaman of Space Rock” Stormy Mormon declares today “Pizza Sunday”, and asks that those who are of a light heart, heavy mind, and contrite spirit to fast and pray until 10:pm where at the 5 spot in holy five points east nashville will be a divine sacrament of pizza. For “This is my body” saith the Stormy. But remember, Jesus didn’t provide the bread and wine at the last supper. he merely said “take… eat…” and thus he broke the bread and the disciples did eat. Wherefore I say unto you, pizza cometh pre-sliced.
Thanks to everyone who helped out with the Holly House sponsored Next Big Nashville After-Party last saturday night at The Mercy Lounge. Especially to Andrew Mishka. Hopefully this was the first of many.
Hope everyone caught this last week’s edition of Holly House. It’ll be happening again this next Wednesday at Midnight until whenever we feel like it. Elk and Mathajacos are going to be with me for the rest of the semester. Check it out.
We are a Nashville local band collective and a WRVU radio show aimed at uniting and promoting the local music scene. Holly House intends to focus on the individual bands over the greater Holly House concept. We hope that soon we’ll be organizing parties, shows and tours for the bands involved.
